Information, Spring Sports, Spring Strength Training

All Class of 2010 Football team members please stop and see Coach Schneider in room 111.  I need to get a final count on what seniors want to order jerseys ($65) and/or helmets ($175).

We will not be starting off-season throwing on Friday morning to allow spring sports tryouts to conclude.  We will start throwing next Friday at 7:15 am.  Offensive linemen will meet after school on Tuesdays at 3:45 pm in the weight room with Coach Homeyer.

Spring sports began on Monday in what hopes to be a successful end to the 2009-2010 Washington High School Activities.

Please continue to make a commitment to the off-season strength and conditioning program.  All student-athletes that do not have morning practice please make a commitment to your workouts.

If you have any questions, comments, or concerns don't hesitate to contact me at zachary.schneider@washington.k12.mo.us or at (636) 231-2200 Ext 9958.

Strength and Conditioning

Just an update:

Our morning workouts continue to be a success. Attendance has been great, as we are currently averaging around 90 student-athletes per morning, grades 8-11. It is exciting to see these young men come together and begin to form the foundations of a successful 2010 football season. We are currently meeting at 7am on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, everyone is welcome.

A big "thank you" goes to all of you parents that have made your son's participation in workouts a priority. None of this would be possible without your support.

If you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact me at:
zachary.schneider@washington.k12.mo.us or at (636) 231-2200 ext 9958

Stay tuned for more updates!

College Football Signings

Congratulations to Justin Hinni who recently signed a letter of intent to play football at William Penn University in Oskaloosa, Iowa. Justin will join former Blue Jays Cory Alfermann and Jack Borcherding. Justin was a two-year starter at quarterback for the Blue Jay's and was a major contributor to the success of the team over the past two years. Congratulations to Justin and stay tuned for more updates on where members of the 2009 football team will continue their football careers.
